I can't interact with the toad sitting near a pipe for some reason. I even got the previous 2 star coins. Am I doing something wrong?

Forgotten hero is a super mario bros "creepypasta story", taking from inspiration other mario horror games, and the new super mario bros series.
This game is dedicated to the Luigikid creepypasta challenge (#luigikidcreepypastachallenge), and probably no further development will be added to the game, other than bug fixes in the future.
All characters showed in screen belongs to Nintendo.
1.1.0 update
- Fixed a bug where you could get the same star coin multiple times.
- Fixed a Koopa issue where you couldn't bounce on it sometimes.
- Added more weight to the jump.
