just played through the demo and i have to say that it was pretty good! a great storyline centered around the character's feelings with some choices here and there, well-done locations that you can explore before heading off for the main storyline and great choice of music!) the menu and the game over screen look very stylish - i love the "shattered" text in there, it looks very fitting for the game alongside the crimson color of the letters!) the game also performs very well - there are no game-breaking bugs or anything nasty or annoying in the game and you can finish it like normal, and, on a final note, the grammar and spelling are on-point - i haven't found any spelling or wording mistakes!) all in all, this demo is a job well done, AleBH!
but, there's also some small problems here and there with the demo - mainly technical and not that big but still worth polishing over. firstly, Tamara is speed fucking incarnate - she runs like crazy if you select Always Sprint ON in the options and breaks the sound barrier like its nothing (Sasori also does this - what a speed demon! jajajaja). i think it has to do with the speed after the beginning cutscene - you should change it 3 or another, a bit slower speed option, but, alas, you get used to the speed after a while, so it's no biggie) next, the students' hair is poorly cut when they're sitting in their chairs, but you won't notice it unless you pay attention (but it's a lot more noticeable in the cutscene where the class is in session). and, finally, there's a little problem with the tilesets in the game as where you can just walk over some objects like the toilet, the towel hanger or the upper part of the bed like it's nothing - you should tweak them a bit so that you can't walk on them)
all in all, Fractured Hearts was a very pleasant surprise!) a nicely done demo for a story-rich RPG with great plot centered around the awesome characters that also works well and, in general, is fun to play!) AleBH, i wish you best of luck and nerves of steel while developing the game!) take care!
There are no two people who are completely identical in the entire world. Although, if there's somethingĀ that everyone has experienced, at least once in their lives, it's having a certain sadness in their heart, a scar that never healed, some grudge in which they want justice or revenge. The game tells the story of four characters.Ā What do they all have in common? A deep pain in their heartsĀ that takes over their lives and makes it hard for them toĀ let go of their pasts. What do their futures hold? Salvation, forgiveness and happiness, or complete surrender toĀ despair? It's up to you to bring the end of this story. #rpg #storyrich
