I love the 8-bit designs! The big smiles look uncanny yet good, can't wait to play this!
Hey I'm experiencing an issue while playing:
Normally upon dying from an enemy in Normal Mode, you would lose a life but continue from where you left off with no real trouble...
However, when I fall into a hole, the game instead spawns me back at the beginning of the stage and sets my score to zero as if I got a Game Over, making me have to travel the entire stage and collect everything all over again.
I don't know if this is intentional, but I don't see why it would be? It's really annoying and makes an otherwise really enjoyable game mode frustrating to get through.
This is a rather underrated game that doesn't have a huge following, so I don't know if anyone has ever brought this to your attention - in which case I hope my feedback helps. Apart from this issue of mine, I love the game and think it's really fun and charming ^^
