Frontline is about shooting alien hazzards while trying to prolong your presense in the battle. From the center of the galaxy aliens are constantly popping up and so far the Alliance hasnt been able to penetrate deep enough to establish a plan for a final assault. That is exactly your job, to get to the center of the alien invasion and report what you see. For that you must equip your battleship with a good combo of stations that will last long, and be useful in battle. You will not operate the ship, but a Fighter that flyes infront of it and destroys any hazzards. The battleship will aways follow you and also recive damage from enemies that pass you or shoot at you.
The game is action pased with an arcade style gameplay like Galaga and such, but 3D. The battle ship stations customization adds extra depth to the gameplay. You can also controll how fast the hazzards pop up by speeding up. Going faster means more enemies and a better score but it will be more challenging also.
