Huh? Another snail game? Who made this? And why is it here...

Goodbye AI is a fangame of the 2D indie platformer Will You Snail? by Jonas Tyroller.

The project started in 2020 as a replica of WYS, but overtime I've decided to make it more original. This game has gone through 2 resets, with the second one hopefully being the last one.

Ok but why should I play this???

You could think of it as kind of like an extension to WYS, with 5 new chapters, but it has some new stuff too, like a new story, a new type of level and..... more than one Squid?? It's recommended you finish WYS before playing this (not that you can play it right now anyways).

Soo when is this gonna come out?

I kind of don't know. The only thing I know for sure is that it's gonna take a while, I plan for it to atleast come out in 2025, but who knows, maybe it'll come out sooner or later.

A history lesson (if you want one):

V1 began as a side project when I just downloaded GameMaker. it had really bad code and I kept working on quantity rather than quality. It has the most content so far but it is also the buggiest and most flawed version out of all of them.

V2 began when I decided that V1's codebase was too messy to refactor without going insane, so I began a completely blank project. V2 was just going to be V1 but would focus on quality more rather than quantity. However I gave up on it pretty early on.

After that a long period of time began where I used to just think about how I could make this fangame more unique. After a bunch of brainstorming I decided to go with the idea that the game is still a WYS replica (...or is it?) however all of the content is completely new with completely new chapters that have new game mechanics. This new version, V3, is currently in development and is set to release in 2025.

Hmm I'd like to play V1 and/or V2
No one's asking this question but still, here's an archive of the builds from both of those versions. Be warned however, these versions are NOT very good or fun at all.
