Gumball in candyland

I got a chance to play Gumball in Candyland and it has that old school platformer of simple run and jump. I drop a few suggestions to take notice of the game. First change the shading for the foreground of the candy hill and platform to be darker and the background of the hills to be lighter. I could not tell which to leap to without fall to the open pit. Next add a tutor menu of what the player to do. Also, will there be any power item like throwing jawbreakers at enemies or toss sticky bubblegum to the ground to trap enemies.
