Princess Peach was the only one with the magic to save the kingdom from the evil forces, yet she was captured by Bowser and imprisoned in a distant castle dungeon. Mario, a man full of courage and determination, upon hearing of the Mushroom Kingdom's tragic fate, resolved to rescue the princess and free the kingdom from the clutches of the evil Bowser. But when Mario arrived, he found only mushroom people turned into stone, bricks, and horsetail. Slowly, Mario realized that the path he was walking was becoming increasingly strange until he discovered himself.
