Originally meant to be an entry for Insanity Jam 2014, Heathentv has since moved into post-deadline production to become a full-fledged adventure game!

The game was inspired through use of Ortiel's Random Game Generator where the following idea was concocted:

A horror game where you assassinate goths and there's an audience that reacts to your actions.

Needless to say, during the initial production phase I really fell in love with the idea (which is kinda why I missed the deadline...)

In any case, Heathentv is going to be an adventure game featuring a new type of 2D aesthetic that I'm trying out. Embracing the RPG Maker engine with my own original art, graphics, and music.

Story:

A group of evil, teenage, delinquent, occultist goths have been kidnapping innocents and subjecting them to satanic rituals, streaming it all online as some sort of sick snuff-show. Things begin to escalate when they kidnapped a certain high-priority individual. Of course, what better way to combat this than to fight fire with fire? Players will take the role of a rogue occultist who gets sent in to beat these goths at their own game... while the cameras are still rolling. Will you be able to put an end to this sick little act? Or will you be it's greatest performer!? Dun-dun-duuun.

In the end, Heathentv will be more of a light-hearted dark comedy with horror aspects mixed in. There will be enough content to interact with for players to be engaged, but nothing one would feel inclined to take too seriously. (This game does not endorse hatred or assasination of goths... heh.)
