I'm working on a simple inventory system so you can shove items in your pockets, such as berries, rocks, and an entire log!

You wake up in the middle of a dark forest, your head is pounding.

The people who took you are nowhere in sight.

Did they leave you here to die?
Did they think you were already dead?

Whatever it is you need to get home.

You decide to walk towards the moon.

Oh dear god! Penelope's body is cut in half!

How did you survive the bear attack?

You're all by yourself, you have to act fast.

There's nothing you can do for Penelope, she'd want you to survive.

You decide to walk towards the sun.

Hike Home

is a survival game where you have stumbled onto a bad part of life and you end up in a forest, alone.

You must gather whatever you can and keep moving, find a safe place to sleep for the night, and keep moving.

No base building, you gotta go.

Randomly Generated Story

In Hike Home you play a character who's survived some sort of catastrophe and has to find his or her way home.

This won't only be a small narrative at the beginning of your play session, but an entire scenario.

If you were kidnapped by a group of delinquents they may have hit you on the head with a baseball bat, meaning you might suffer from some form of brain damage, you occasionally get your vision blurred and feel fatigued faster.

If you were a camper who went through some forest-related accident, you might start off with a few camping supplies, making it a bit easier to survive in the wild.
