What do you think?

im think, game is dead

game alive?

In one of the images of the game you can see the pre alpha house in the distance is this maybe hinting at something

This game looks amazing, can't wait to play the demo

This looks like a good game :)

Hello Neighbor Alpha 1 Complete Edition is a stealth horror game about breaking into your neighbor's house, to discover the secrets of his basement!

It's directly based off the original Hello Neighbor Alpha 1, but it is built from scratch in a new project, and it's using the latest version of Unreal Engine 5.

The main difference is that it also has a lot of custom aspects, including new puzzles, new mechanics, much more content in general, a very different story, custom cutscenes, and an intelligent AI that you have to outwit to win the game!

The game is going to available on Windows at launch, but it'll be available on other platforms in the future.

The project is being completely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4.27.2, since the old project was messy, buggy, and the packaged game didn't launch at all without an Assertion Failure, so I took that as a sign to rebuild it, in a much nicer state.

I got a UI localization system up & running, but I want to know if I should add any other languages to the game for the demo at least. Some languages will be harder to add than others.

Should I release an actually polished demo, or an unstable test version, and release patches to fix it, since that would take less time.

haven't updated this in a while since i've been working on different things for a long time, but I may return to development if I have enough time

(Edit: I will finish this) I don't know if I will continue working on it, quite frankly, I do not enjoy hello neighbor anymore, and I have other projects I want to work on, without sacrificing quality, I may actually finish this one day though.

When I release the demo, should I mark it as an "Prototype" or Pre-Alpha, and do regular patches (and include some new features with each one), or do major patches every 2 months, with some minor ones in-between each update?

Game is being rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5.2, I tried to port the whole project directly, but it didn't work, so I am rebuilding it, shouldn't take long.

if you're wondering why there is no update for a while, that's because i'm saving all of those for the end of the month, so after I have made the 3rd floor's layout, and maybe even the 4th floor, but that'll be revealed on on a specific day...

the 3rd floor is coming along nicely!
