Hardest hello neighbor fangame that isnt puzzle slop
I really like the concept behind this, unlike other prototype fangames which try to just replicate the trailer 1 by 1, this one instead includes all of the floors (only 2 floors as of now) and genuinely feels like what a full version of the prototype would be like, keep up the good work I'm actually really excited for this!
One of the best fangames that shows what HN could have been, an actual stealth horror game instead of a cartoony family friendly parkour game.
First, this games has MODES. Your not very good at HN? Play Easy! Your decent or want to improve in general HN fangames? Play Normal or Hard mode! You want to challenge you sanity? PLAY GROUNDHOG!
The Graphics (Alpha 2) are by far the most beautiful yet most accurate to the actual Prototype shown in the trailer,
the Neighbor here has an excellent AI, he hears you when you make too much sound, when you complete a puzzle (depends the mode), actually predicts were are you going or where are you hiding, and he even sometimes goes in ambush mode! Great mechanic brought from the Pre-alpha.
His Offline mode is also great! Bear traps, barricaded doors and walls of props that will alert the Neighbor when knocked over!
The Atmosphere is also very good. You can tell whenever the neighbor is in Idle or Hunt mode. Using the unused "Sneak" ambience as the "Hunt" mode ambience is GENUIS. Really fits well.
The Physics in this fangame is PERFECTLY IMITATED from the first alphas, AMAZING.
This game also has multiple secrets endings! have fun trying to find them!
In general, greatest fangame that i played yet and brought me back to HN. Thank you devs.
