"When a high notoriety terrorist gets his hand on the most deady bioweapon known to man, things start to get ugly." [sic]
Oh wow do things start to get ugly. As soon as you run the game things get ugly.
Actually, you don't even have to run the game for things to get ugly. The amount of bandwidth this game takes up is ugly itself, 323MB is not okay. And that's compressed. The game itself is 841MB of files, which is way too big for a game of this quality.
Once it's downloaded, it gets even worse; the game says it requires DirectX9.0c (And this is only when it refuses to load), but refuses to run on anything lower than DirectX10, which is inconsistent, and no information is provided by the developer about this. No system specifications, no requirements, no information. There isn't even a readme file included in the download, which is terrible.
And then, when you run the game, it gets even worse. The memory requirements for this game is extreme, I've never seen anything like it. At peak, it used 1.2GigaBytes of memory, at the menu screen it used 928MegaBytes of memory. There's no possible justification of this, you don't need 1.2GB of memory for a game that's not even open-world; SKYRIM doesn't use this much memory, and it's got a memory leak!!
And when you finally click play, it somehow makes itself worse. It takes eons to load, far longer than your typical FPS, and far longer than any game I own to-date. Several times during loading, it appears to freeze up with windows suggesting that it had crashed. The game completely fails to handle the windows messages during load times.
And then... and then when it finally loads, it makes itself worse yet again. A minimal introduction, no control explanations, and no way to re-map the key bindings. If I were left-handed, this game would have been unplayable. The game leaves you completely on your own, without any help whatsoever. Some of the controls are standard FPS controls (Well, you did SOMETHING right) yet, the weapon select keys (1 -> 9) are dependent on the order in which you pick the equipment up. Your knife could be weapon 1, or weapon 2. No way to re-order it either apparently. (There COULD be a way, but the game never tells you, so how could you know?)
And then....... when you attempt to play the game... it makes itself somehow worse yet again. It runs like shit. No seriously, it runs like shit. 10FPS is not okay for a first person shooter, that's absolutely terrible. Even with the quality at the lowest (Which you must load INTO the world to change, for some reason) it still runs at 10FPS. The game has a target FPS at 60, but barely scrapes one sixth of that. And it's quite obvious why.
Pressing F11 brings up some development configuration options. You can enable/disable several aspects of the game of your choosing, using the number keys. These are the same keys that your weapons are on, so you'll change weapons when you do so. Most of the lag is on the 'terrain' option. Disabling the rendering of the terrain significantly improves the FPS of the game, but makes the ground invisible. Additionally, disabling the rendering of the water ALSO disables the game's killing you if you try to step INTO the water, suggesting that it not only disables rendering, but also the game logic dependent on the water.
The game doesn't implement any LOD effects, nor does it have a maximum render range, leading to terrible GPU bottlenecking. My CPU was using only 20% of it's capabilities, while the game was lagging to hell. This game is so unoptimised, it's incredibly painful to play it.
And then.................... when you attempt to complete the game...... it's still making itself somehow worse yet again. The game is completely without any background ambiance or music whatsoever, leaving it feeling dry and tasteless. The game's actual audio has no 3D effects to it, so it sounds like everything is all around you all the time. This especially applies to the zombies' "urggh" sound effects, which repeat constantly, and have little to no variety whatsoever.
The combat is atrocious. There are multiple issues with the shooting game-play; ammunition is somehow both far too sparse, yet far too common in further levels, but only for a single weapon. Your ammunition does NOT reset if you die, leading to your ammunition always falling lower and lower during repeated attempts. And, for some reason, you do NOT keep your weapons/ammunition when proceeding to additional levels, causing you to lose your melee weapon (a dagger) and never getting another one. This is in spite of an axe being inside the level, which would make for a decent melee weapon, but alas, it's not been coded as one. And even if these bugs didn't exist, the combat is bland, and unfulfilling anyway. The guns feel unwieldy, the crossfire is static and too large, leading to inaccurate shots that do not encourage crouching nor penalise for kiting, and each enemy drops one (1) unit of ammunition, despite having more than one bullet. Additionally, several of the gun reload animations are out of sync with the reload audio, and the shotgun reload animation always reloads at least two rounds even when only one round was available for reload, which is inconsistent with the actual ammunition reloaded.
Should you actually complete the game, the final "boss" is empty and unfulfilling. It's just a person, with a gun. You've killed many of them, this one just has more health. His health doesn't reset during failed attempts, leading it to essentially being a question of "Can you kill him before you run out of ammo?" - because you lost your melee weapon during the level switch. Should you get past this, the ending of the game is just a poorly voiced voice-over, and an end-game screen that looks unfinished.
Do I recommend this game? No. No, I do not. This game was a pain to download, a pain to extract (who uses RAR archives? Ew), a pain to run, a pain to load, a pain to play, and a pain to complete. Possibly competing for worst game I've ever played, this game could possibly be enjoyed by sadists or used as a tool of torture.
This game isn't worth the bandwidth it consumes, nor the disk space it occupies. Download at your own risk.
Not recommended. At all.
The story and gameplay make no sense. You have to hunt a terrorist so you spawn in the middle of nowhere alone with no weapons and you kill few enemies by the weapons you find and then there are random zombies? what? Also the performance is not good because every object (even those kilometers away) are rendered in full quality which is why it lags so much. I still rated it 5/5
Great concept! I like the idea behind the game and the developer is a really nice guy. Hope he goes far in this and can gradually upgrade his software from GameGuru since the Engine is letting him down. The Level design was really good just the engine is the problem for this game. The guy who wrote he had bad FPS must be playing on a N64 cos I was 25+FPS on max settings on my bad PC for the whole game.
When a high notoriety terrorist gets his hand on the most deady bioweapon
known to man, things start to get ugly.
200 meters south of Cuba, is an island that is guilty of creating this weapon.
Led by Kajiir Al-Pakaar, everyone is at risk. secret agent Tyreese is in
charge to stop him. The worlds faith lies on his hands.
To launch the game press the red icon in the game folder.
Thank you for playing
NOTE: If you have a low-spec pc, you may lag as the engine is relatively new and not properly optimised.
