What do you think?

The game was okay. There were a few bugs included. I'd like to review this game again, when you plan to finish it ;-)

I like the graphics and feel of the game. I included it in my Asylum Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out. https://youtu.be/J4qmtqIpfKk

I wondered if I could make a horror game in 2-bit Monochrome at 160x144.

Just A Story is an experiment in making horror and atmosphere while trying to simulate the look of an original GameBoy following a similar style to popular top-down games for that system--with a creepy twist.

Premise: 3 tween-age girls are camping in a forest (supervised of course.) They decide to tell a ghost story. Just a story, right?

Before playing you need to know:

This was made for Asylum Jam 2015. It is an unfinished jam game. When you get past the two last enemies (you'll know when you have) then the game is over. A final map was planned but didn't happen due to time constraints.

There is no intro screen, the game just starts. And there is no exit key either, so Alt+F4 is your friend when you're done. Colliding with a monster will restart the current map--it is inelegant and abrupt, sorry.

Controls: WASD to move, that is all.

Required Specs: GPU must support a minimum of OpenGL 3.3.
