It would be nice if it sped up as you went forward. also, the background hurts my eyes

Yeah. Scrolling is proper now. But the game still needs to be 32x32 and the character and enviroment need to be fixed to this grid too.
Didn't seem to work for me. Also the smooth scrolling breaks the jam rules.
