Kakapo Hello

It's kakapo mating season! Using the male's mating calls and environmental sounds to guide you, navigate through the vegetation to reach your mate.

Important
Since this is a sound-based game, stereo speakers or headphones (preferably headphones) are required.

Controls

• W or left arrow: Move left

• D or right arrow: Move right

Sounds

• Boom: The male kakapo's low sonic boom. It echoes off obstacles, so avoid the direction the sound is coming from.

• Ching: The male kakapo's higher metallic call, used to help females locate him. Go towards the direction of this sound to avoid obstacles.

• Rimu berries falling: Go towards this sound to collect the fallen berries for health.
