"It was never your choice to serve, just like it was never your choice to be made."
The seemingly doomed world of Yibbis has to face yet another existential threat. Thousands of years prior, a horrific being of unfathomable power was imprisoned in another dimension by an advanced civilization that has long since vanished. Fast-forward to the present, and this ancient evil is now on the verge of breaking free from its cage. The VITAL Organization, concealers of the truth, has discovered the existence of three lost artifacts created by the ancients that could potentially stop the entity from escaping and destroying the fabric of reality. They must be found before it is too late.
Some unfortunate shut-in canine named Alan is randomly drafted by VITAL to complete a series of missions in order to find the artifacts. However, things become more complicated when several enemies to the organization are trying to acquire the artifacts for themselves. Two others tread the same path as Alan's, and much like him, they are merely being used by the powers they obey.
This massive sidescrolling platformer features three (technically four) playable characters, each with their own set of abilities. Slash through your enemies as Alan, fill them with lead as Naius, or just straight-up wipe them out of existence with magic as Reraph! The game includes 35 levels total, each one packed with hazards, collectables, alternate routes, quirky NPCs, and secrets to discover.
In between stages is when you get to play wacky minigames, decrypt hidden messages, and engage in awkward conversations with the game's cast of awkward characters!
Keys to Eclipse is in the last stages of development and should be released for PC before the end of the year. There are plans to also release a macOS port in the near future, but that is not guaranteed to happen.
Please be aware that this is a VERY long game that can take up to 12 hours to complete, so don't try playing through all of this in one sitting.
