Fun game with nice art style! I also like that you could change the volume in the menu. Good job! :)
The sprites are pretty good, as well as the music. Gameplay is a bit monotonous, and the objects scroll a bit faster than the background. I think the game would be more fun if running into obstacles deplete your stamina meter instead of instantly finishing you.

King Spaniel: Royal Run is an exciting 16-bit infinite runner made for the online game jam "TagJam18". Have fun as you play as King Spaniel, a Cavalier king charles spaniel dog that wears a swaggy crown. Join his adventures as he dodge numerous VLC logo hazards and collect food as he goes! Collect all the rare stuff owned by the developers (please help us find arwyn's briefs, he's been looking for it for days!).
This game was made for #tagjam18, and served as our warmup game for global game jam. No dogs we're harmed during the development of this game.
