Howdy!
I LOVED this game! For a game Jam game, it was absolutley amazing! The art was beautiful, the music was used at perfect moments to build tension and over all, the game was just super fun to play! As well as this, the concept was beutifully executed, which makes the whole game feel alot more self contained, creating a tiny, beautiful world within the game, which is build beautiful by the tiny spectacular details within this game.
My only bits of Advice for if you want to take this project further would be to have a tutorial level and a recipe book. A tutorial level would clear up any confusion about more late game stuff, and a recipe book means that all recipe's withing game can be found just there.
This game was amazing!! If anyone other than Dev is reading this and want's to check the out before playing it yourself, i played it on my channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJ_l6-0xceA
How do you make a cobb salad? I tried everything and created a salad only
Excellent style, music, atmosphere, loved the references and jokes. I'm only a little sad that there aren't different endings. I played through a couple times. One normal playthrough, once doing none of the "extra credit" with all A's, and once doing all of the "extra credit" with all A's. Missed oppurtunity. After reading it was for a game jam however, I understand. Great little game!
how do you cut ur pinkey
You are a PhD student. Feed the lab animals to keep them alive.
Get food from the refrigerator. Feed the specimens what they ask for.
Some foods require multiple ingredients. Get tools from the equipment drawer, and prepare recipes at the proper station.
Look out for optional extra credit assignments from the powers that be.

Several of the special requests from The Powers That Be require special equipment from the equipment drawer or special foods from the refrigerator.
Once the request is made, the new items will be available at the right station.
