This game was made in a week for the March 2010 Experimental Gameplay Project.
For years giant automated robots were used to protect humankind. The robots were armed with a wide array of weapons, and were able to process input at high speeds, allowing them to analyze the battlefield and apply precision force as needed. As the years wore on however, the robots were eventually destroyed, and left decaying on the battlefield. A small group of exiles, fleeing for safety were able to activate one of these ancient machines, and huddle behind it as swarms of missiles close in. The robot is old, most of its weapons are destroyed, and it only has ten seconds worth of full combat power remaining. But perhaps ten seconds will be enough...
You play as the once mighty, and still formidable, combat robot. You have an auto-cannon, a laser, and a high speed processor. Use these tools carefully to destroy the incoming missiles until the enemy runs out. Left-click and drag to fire the laser along the path you drag, Right-click and drag to fire the auto-cannon along the path you drag. Use the mouse wheel to increase and decrease the speed of your processor.
