The letters need WAY more contrast against the background. I was sitting there wondering when the game would start when finally I saw there were these barely noticeable and completely unreadable black shapes falling.

It is simple but can be frustrating with so many letter falling :)
As letters fall to the ground at ever increasing speeds, make sure you hit the corresponding key in time.
