The art in this game is amazing. The design and colors are all on point, and I really love the look of the characters and the cut scenes . The controls for walking are sometimes a bit draggy and not completely smooth, even when I turn on sprint mode, but nothing too major, and this comment is more likely due to my own preferences. I like the morale boost dialogue options, since you do have to choose appropriately for the character you wish to boost, so it does have a very interactive and accomplished feeling to it. The fighting game play is nice, and I really like how aiming at different parts of the body have different effects and chances. The story seems very interesting as far as the demo goes, though it does feel a bit strange at times, maybe rushed or disconnected, but those are things that can be sorted out quite easily with future plot and character development, when more information is given on the environment and the people. So I'm looking forward to seeing how the game develops further!
over four years ago I commented that i would buy the game no matter what.

Is this game going to be paid to play? I mean it really is good to be paid, even so that I like the story of these 2, keep it up, and welp if it's going to be paid, it will make a blast.
Long Gone Days is a 2D modern-day military RPG set in our current times, with a focus on language and cultural barriers, inspired by classic dystopian literature and visual novels.
After being deployed to his first mission, Rourke leaves The Core's base for the very first time, only to discover the dark truth about the operation he's part of and the consequences of deserting an inescapable war.

Communication is Key
As Long Gone Days is set in the real world, you'll encounter several language barriers. Recruit interpreters in order to communicate with others.
Keep Morale High
Choose dialogue options wisely as they impact your party members' Morale, affecting how they perform during battles. While doing so, keep in mind every character has different personality traits and motivations.
Sniper Mode
Long Gone Days has two battle systems. Using Rourke's rifle, spot your enemies and take down your targets.
No Random Encounters
Long Gone Days features front-view turn-based battles with body-targeting system, and every battle is directly related to the plot.
