Game is pretty fun. I liked it and played a good amount of it too. The music is super catchy. I wish I had it on my pc so I can jam it every often with my game soundtracks. I give it a 4. Would have been golden if there was powerup for your weapon and variety of enemies but still not a bad arcade shoot em up.
its not a bad game, but it isnt a great thing. Its just very generic, nothing that leaves an impression on the player

Awesome!! The mouse control and sound FX are cool. What also would be nice is maybe some bigger ships which take a little longer to kill. Otherwise a great job!
Great mouse control. I like that the ship is always at the cursor instead of smoothly transitioning to it like some games tend to do which gets annoying. The space background looks a bit noisy and could use an upgrade. Good game so far ;)
LightSpeed Assault is a fast-paced arcade survival game where you must earn the highest score possible while blasting enemy ships and asteroids with the help of a LightSpeed powerup.
You can grab LightSpeed powerups to gain 10 seconds of invincibility, during which time you can go kamikaze and rack up points as you fly through enemies unharmed!
Enemy interceptors aren't the only ones after you; there will also be suicidal kamikaze fighters who fly towards you and detonate, so be careful.
If your health reaches a critical point, a flashing red indicator will warn you that you must collect a green energy sphere.
Enjoy a pulsing, atmospheric soundtrack as you do a barrel roll through waves of enemies and asteroids on your way to a high score!
Controls:
Mouse = Move
Left mouse button = Semi-automatic missiles
W or Up Arrow (Hold) = Automatic missiles
A/D or Left Arrow/Right Arrow = Barrel Roll
