I tend to agree with Mike but the programming was exceptional.
Good Work.
I also played it on YYG along time ago, i loved it and it became one of my favorite games on YYG. GREAT WORK!
I played this ages ago once on YoYogames. As mentioned before the element of luck feels a little too prevalent but overall it's an enjoyable game and very well polished.
You could tell that you put work into it, but it just didn't feel at all like any kind of thinking puzzle.
Just didn't feel like it belonged here.
After playing the Trails, Visit, Kemrang, Don't Save Princess, etc. I thought that I was being very generous giving it a 3.
Nice work though.
Well, it seems this has gone rather unnoticed here on GJ, but I remember playing Loot months ago on Yoyo. It's very polished, and a great way to burn off a couple of minutes. The fact it's only been downloaded 3 times is pretty sad, it's a really enjoyable puzzle romp. My only criticism is that the element of luck far outweighs any input of skill, which might alienate some players.
A simple card-based dungeon crawl. Explore randomly generated dungeons, collecting treasure and items and avoiding traps. Each game takes less than 30min - simple but addictive.
Please don't say that its too easy unless you've unlocked both of the difficulty settings.
Incidentally, the game is meant to be played without creating a pen & paper map. You can play it however you like, but part of the challenge is in just using your memory.
Some people are getting errors about non-existent surfaces. This is probably caused by surfaces getting erased from video memory. The only way I've been able to duplicate it is by changing the screen resolution during play. So don't do that. Also, if you have screen-savers popping up during play, try disabling them. It might also be caused by old videocards.
Note: the Disarm Trap scroll is not pointless. Traps reset themselves after being triggered and you have to come back the way you came to win the game, so it is useful to be able to disarm traps that have already been triggered.
