This game is definitively Hotline Miami with robotical android cyborg creatures firing neon red bullets in order to kill what looks to be MINES. Anyways, the graphics of this game are flippin' amazing.

Nice, this has potential. The pacing is good, but the whole thing needs to be easier, and of course, needs variety. And I really liked the music, it fit very well.

Nice quick arcade game to play, I like! Loving your art style as always. It felt a little unpolished due to the fact that it was straight to the point, but maybe that is it's positive point too. Some sort of intro the first time I play would be cool, and maybe some invulnerability powerups that sometimes came out of crates? Nicely done so far, if you do add the API I'll be sure to give it another shot.
My Game Jolt Contest 9 entry
You are a prisoner on an enemy ship. The ship travels over a desolate planet with relentless storms in which are called the "Maelstrom". You must try to escape in the ship wreckage by shooting your way to victory.
The games a bit unstable, didn't have much time between Collage stuff but got a decent amount done. May add some stuff like GJ API support more enemies, weapons and bosses n' stuff.
W,S,A,D - Move
Shift - Boost
Left Click - Shoot
