Wow this is pretty cool! More configuration options would be nice but it's pretty neat straight off the bat.
Perhaps more colours (if it's not simply a true or false option for the green/blue squares) could be added for various purposes, or a definable amount of water (if you wanted to make something more inland.
Apart from that, very helpful for making games :D

This is a map generator
Commands:
esc: reset map
q: make a iteration slob by slot.
space bar: make a iteration in all slots. ( can complete the 'q' command if you don't want to wait )
