I sincerely believe this game is what the Horrorbrew community needed in an age of what I consider to be a drought. A well thought out, wonderfully presented experience where you can feel the passion put into every pixel.

This game is called DAREDEVIL EDITION for a reason: it will challenge you over and over again, and it's up to you to dust yourself off and try again. I recommend keeping a calm disposition throughout; remember that it's just a game. He knows that too.

The spritework takes the original works of SMB and ever-so-slightly tweaks it to make its own identity, while also adding some new aberrations that will fight you in each level. The score is amazing as well, definitely not what you would expect from a SMB fangame.

And of course, the Daredevil himself. I loved his character as much as his levels frustrated me. He is such a little scrote and that's what maks him endearing. He knows none of this is real, he knows that no matter how many times you die, you'll come back. And when you beat the game, he will always be there to greet you. After all,

This game is the embodiment of Sisyphus, my advice to anyone looking to play this is IT IS BRUTAL. It will seem frustrating, it will seem impossible. But you can do it. You're not Sisyphus. The game is your boulder but it's not immovable. Have fun!
