Maximum Thrust is a game about shooting purple enemy ships. As an top-down arcade asteroids-like shooter, it's rather simple using primarily the mouse, to control the game.
The gameplay normally takes place in a "round", lasting anywhere from 20 seconds to 15 minutes, you shoot purple enemy ships dodging asteroids and gathering power-ups. Having a maximum of 8 power-ups requires you to choose which ones you'd prefer, there isn't having a ton of health and doing a ton of damage.

SpaceBar & Middle Mouse - Bring up the Select Mission Menu
C - Quit Mission
1-8 - Removes Power Up in that slot, top left being slot 1, bottom right being slot 8. PowerUp icons are in the bottom left.
Escape - Bring up the Menu
