The Island of Sodor has come up with a chemical that expands any engine or rolling stock, giving it limbs and mechanical parts, turning them into "Mechanical Engines". The chemical never caused too much trouble until a rival railway to Sodor, The Island of Butchland, attacked, killing many civilians and engines. However, the engines died along with the chemical, transforming them into Mechanical Engines, while some of them were able to regain their sanity, others lost sanity and gained in agression and or blust lust. You play as Morgan Marsh. A trainee member of the Sodor crew, and with the help of some friends, you explore around the Island of Sodor to find a way to reverse the effects of Mechanical Chemical, and turn Sodor back to what it's supposed to be, if not better.
