I love this idea! Most UFO games are about abducting/attacking humans, so it's refreshing to see a game where you're trying to protect them from the meteor shower. Your difficulty curve is nicely done, and I like how you can use multiple hits to speed up the tractor even more.
Cool background sprites and cloud layers, too. Very nice job on the on-screen UI. I love being able to see the A/D/Space icons right on the ship and ground. That's super helpful and makes it a lot easier to hit the correct forward and backward arrows.
Very nice work on your game! Are you planning to add more to it after the jam?
A shooter game were you have to protect the farmer from incoming meteors shooting close but not at him, use "a" and "d" to move and "spacebar to shoot"
