Pretty much no complaints with this demo. Everything is of a consistent level of quality and extremely well made. Loved absolutely everything here, especially Surrogate. How do you make a song so pragmatically otherworldly yet so captivating? Was also a big fan of all the songs having their visual styles match their source materials. Again, big shout out to the Impostward sprites at the end of Surrogate. They're so good that I genuinely question how they were even able to be made or how they look this good.
Only complaint would be the gimmick in Surrogate, funnily enough. The explanation at the start of the song is too vague and not exactly clear on how it actually works (you have to spam your space bar when the black vignette representing the eyelids comes down for anyone stuck). As is, "Keep your eyes on Him" is too vague. It's also really difficult, the gimmick gets really tricky towards the end and doesn't offer much leeway, so I didn't actually clear it, and trust me, I was mashing the fuck out of my space bar by the end, I can confirm it's really strict. I'm probably just not a very fast button masher, I can never get very good Max Bonuses in Bayonetta's button mashing segments, but I think at the least there should be a bit more leeway in a future update. I am aware that it is getting a patch soon according to the official Twitter account, by the way.
Otherwise, everything here was absolutely worth the wait. I think Surrogate's difficulty in regards to the gimmick was the only thing I didn't like, everything else is basically perfect. Keep cooking. Never stop.
