Monkey Beat is a one-button #rhythm game heavily inspired by PaRappa the Rapper. In this game you will face charming characters in rap battles.
For you to sing, you must hit the Space button when the notes of the music come over the vinyl disk. But be careful, miss too much notes and the crowd will get really mad!
The game was make for LudumDare 42 and it was our first game.
Our plan was to have 2 stages, the first one to be the tutorial and other with a lyric more focused on the characters, but we spent too much time fixing bugs, so there’s only the first stage.
