I should have some new screenshots up tomorrow night if everything goes as planned :D
I'm just about done with a complete overhaul of what I have here. I've added more dialogue and made it more realistic and added some other stuff it should be done in an hour or so.
Well, I played what I could because after giving the bread to the mother the screen went black but never returned, I can say it wasn't freezed because I could still interact with events (actually I got teleported somewhere).
That said, I will start with the two things I thought before downloading it:
First, it is really bad idea to put screenshots taken from the editor itself.
Second, even if it is only a really early demo for feedback, adding a description of your game will help a lot to attract people's attention (Being honest, I only download it because it was only 4,5 MB).
Now the thing I thought while playing it and after a finished what I could:
One of the two first things than come to my mind was that it didn't see like you were a english native speaker, if that is correct, don't worry I am not either but you should get a proofreader as there were some minor errors (or, at least, I think it were minor) and many things that could be have been written better.
The other thing that come at the same time is that you are using only material from the RTP to make the game, that is not a bad thing but I know a lot of people who dislike the use of only RTP in a game. I can't say it will be something bad or not in this case as I don't really know what the game is about but you should check out for other things as there a lot free in the internet and most of them only require that you gives them credits in the game for the usage.
Other thing a lot more minor would be that the maps look too no originals, sorry, is just that they don't have anything that makes them more special than the maps you usually see in basics tutorial.
Well then, that's all I have to say, I suppose I will give you the same advice that is generally given: If it your first time with RPG maker or this type of game making, don't go for a really big project, play around with the program and do short games that won't bother if they fail until you get used to using it.
Hope this helps you.
The bio is going to currently removed due to the fact that this game is going to be reworked in its intirety. Under current circumstances work on the new version of the game will begin again sometime toward the end of this month (May) or the beginning of next month. (June) These at this point are unoffical due to not being able to speak with the two people who I plan to work with to talk about dates of beginning production.
The Change Notes below are from the older version of the game. It will be replaced once a stable enough build of the verison of the game is ready along with the actual download for the old version.
Change notes:
V 1.0 - Current demo is uploaded
V 1.1 - Complete dialoge overhaul. Added a new parts to the demo including night time :D
