If you don't want to watch, heres a written review:
I really like the look and feel of this game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this feels heavily inspired by early Legend of Zelda games, and I love it. Only having 4 directions to move (Up, down, left, right) makes it a little more difficult, as most people are being able to combine their buttons into the 8 different directions. This doesn't make it any worse though, just means you have to think about what you're going to do before doing it. The colours are bright and remind me a lot of Stardew Valley. I also love that you can ride the horse. That's awesome. And some of the weird running stuff I did on him was quite entertaining to me. My biggest complaint is that you can be hit while talking to an NPC, which feels really cheap and unfair. It makes you rush through dialogue so you can continue moving. This may have happened because the attack was already coming towards me before I started talking, I don't really know, but either way, it was slightly annoying. The music is nice as far as I'm concerned, and sleeping to restore hearts is nothing new. When I got to the cave, I was sad to find out that the containers had preset items in them. So if you have full arrows, bombs, etc it doesn't matter. You can only pick up so many, and after maxing out any item, the new ones you pick up just seem to be wasted. I didn't notice if they were converted into gems or not, but the item that falls was a bomb, arrow, etc. I understand this can be used in a later section to avoid the arrows being spawned constantly turned into an infinite gem farm, but still. I did get stuck at one of the puzzles, and honestly can't think of a way to complete it. I don't know if I'm just thinking wrong or not, but either way. Maybe if I spent more time on it I could've figured it out. I didn't see a solution, and I assume the traps don't reset even after leaving the dungeon, which is fine. I just didn't know how to solve anything from the dungeon other than the basic puzzles. This is not a bad thing though. Maybe a different mindset is needed to solve them. I got stuck at the 2 puzzles and didn't try too much to finish them. I couldn't think of anything else, and I'm not blaming the game for that at all. Overall, I do like this game. I recommend checking it out. I can't really explain it better than it feels like an updated version of Legend of Zelda
