You play as a Luminian named Naomi, who treks the world in search to help those in need, as she's become aware of her lucid dreamer abilities within the massive dream world she seemingly lives in.
As you explore, you may obtain some lore for both Tonight's the Night and the shelved game Nights with Naomi.
In the near future, some posts may encourage those following the project to give a piece of their mind on development. While this is mostly a single developer working on the game, it sometimes helps to know what other people think.
