What is this?
OblitrX is a #fastpaced #2D #arena #survival #shooter where you fight #endless waves of malware inside a corrupted system. Manage your weapon heat, create powerful overclock combinations and BECOME OBLITR HIMSELF!
How did this happen?
In 2004, an idiot infected his computer with malware while trying to download a pirated game. Luckily for him (and you), he had an anti-virus software installed. It was called OblitrX. You play as Oblitr, the anti-virus. You are inside the idiot’s computer system. You have to fight and obliterate all the malware while they try to obliterate you.
What makes this game special?
Endless wave system
Handcrafted and generated waves to refresh every run. Some are normal, hard, or even explosive...
Overheat mechanic
Manage your weapon's heat and try not to overheat it at the worst moment! Overclock Builds. Combine powerful overclocks and create your own playstyle.
Enemy Variety
Each enemy behaves differently. Learn them or get obliterated yourself.
Boss Fight (only one currently)
Face the god of the malware himself along with his zealots.
Clean Visual Feedback
Clear enemies, effects and UI even in absolute chaos!
