Obscure Journey is a 2D RPG Beat em' Up about the sacrifices a mother does when in desperate times.
STORY
The player controls Anne, a monster that lives in the Whiteridge Village poverty. Her son Dajion is born months after losing her husband in a brutal war between humans and monsters, the Swordbreak War. After hearing of the Spirit Pit legend, she ventures into the cavern where the Spirit Pit lies.
GAMEPLAY
The game features Beat Em' Up elements, with waves of enemies attacking the player, blocking the way forward. Anne can defend herself using different types of attacks and powerups. You will have to help Anne get to the end of the Drireth Cavern by defeating minibosses, and avoiding all sorts of obstacles. You will also find shops at random points in the cavern, ran by monsters who couldn't find the way out, but are happy to help.
