I think idea of Ex-World despite it being a bad game of a novice was quite unique and it took time for me to realize this.

First of all it was one of the last indie games that was released before Indie games became so mainstream as they're now.

Second it was game about website - ex.ua which doesn't exists in the same way anymore. Not a cliche about medieval knights or post-apocalypse thing. The core of the idea was to put some guy, protector of sorts to guard websites on the internet. Everyone on the internet try to be someone, they put masks (avatars) on their faces to be recognized with, but this guy had no face. So i called him Faceless. A Faceless Protector. The Silent Keeper of Order on the Plains & Hills of the Internet.

Third it was Game Series before Telltale Games popularized the idea. Of course I couldn't come up by the time with proper realization of how I could use this feature and had little knowledge of how to do anything at all with the game.

My problem was - i was too young. Many ideas. Little means to bring them to life. Dunning-Kruger effect and stuff. Many developers were in these shoes. Countless still are. Some break through. Some give up.

I didn't give up, but at the time of this writing I didn't break through either.

My first commercial project I'm currently working on is based on ideas of this game & ideas of games I couldn't get finished. I will call this game "E.X-World".

This game was uploaded on this website for history's sake.

Current project called "E.X-World" bears some most important & most unique key parts of what made Ex-World special. It shares Platformer genre, but now with Combat & RPG elements.

Development of the universe where E.X-World is just one of major parts is now my primal focus.
