Good platformer, clearly inspired by Cave Story
I like the idea of shooting, platforming, enemies etc but I don't like the idea of scattering ammo, health and weapon upgrades everywhere like this. I'm aware that this is just a demo so I'm hoping in final version those upgrades will placed in challenging spots ;) ;)
The idea of weapon upgrades is great but please make it consistent. If a weapon is upgraded to three way, then the next upgrade should be 5 way or stronger version of three way NOT downgrade to single way
TBH I don't the idea of accessing console next to door just to open it. I hope that can be simplied in final version

One Dog Story Review
Positives:
Smooth Platforming: This game's platforming is pretty dang smooth! The player speed's a bit slow, but the controls work well.
Gun Upgrades!: This game features several different weapons that can be upgraded with capsules scattered about the levels. The weapons have a nice range in variety that make them pretty nice to use!
Pleasant Artwork: This game has a very nice artstyle somewhat reminiscent of CaveStory. Looks pretty good!
Tutorial: Yeah, you'd be surprised to hear that most games completely throw the tutorial out of the window.
Negatives:
Bad Translation: I'm under the impression that the developers are foreign, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the game's text is a bit messed up.
Character Speed: The player character moves really slowly. The only thing that has to be done here is to increase the player's walk speed.
So, would I recommend this game? YES! You should definitely take a look for yourself. While you're at it, you should check out the kickstarter!
Deep down under the ground a major catastrophe happened in the science laboratory. Aftermath was terrible. By lucky chance, creature named EO-43 (at least, that was written on his capsule) broke out of chains.
This is exactly where our little friend’s adventure will start. He is lonely in that underground world, but with your help, he will find out who he is, what his real name is and who is staying behind that terrible catastrophe.
