Nice menu, it was kinda hard to understand how to play, but fun
Wow, the interface and graphics feel very polished and smooth! I appreciate the small details like how the music doesn't start until after destroying the first UFO.
Unfortunately, the game is a bit tricky to play - the hitboxes on the UFO laser are a bit too generous for my liking.
That UI is super cool! I love the grass and player animations too. I also really enjoy how the UFO catches up to you quickly (to stay on-screen) and then moves slowly when homing in on you.
The rock throwing mechanic is great. I might suggest (in a future version) putting a few pre-existing rocks on the ground so players can learn how they work before being exposed to lasery death from above. Very cool take on the jam theme!

My Opera GX Game Jam entry.
All assets (art, sound effects, music, and code) were made during the jam period, including a JavaScript extension to save to the browser.
WASD to move, Q to throw by default.
All settings are saved to the browser, but not with the Windows build as of now.
