Damn single player AI's don't work :(

If you were to make this again from the ground up though it would have some great potential

You could add different mazes from all the other games such as Pac & Pal, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man and etc. and have their different mechanics attached to each maze, and there's even more potential with the character roster as you could add all sorts of other Namco and crossover characters if you wanted to...

Connect some USB controllers to your computer and have fun playing a multiplayer version of Pac-Man with friends!

It's the original arcade version of pac man, except you can play as the ghosts! You can even make the ghosts use their original AI, or allow pac-man to be the AI instead and work with your AI ghost buddies!

(Also sorry about the campaign being a nonfunctional button, if I dare remove it everything collapses like a house of cards, my old code is horrendous.)

RULES:

Pac-Man can score Match Points by eating all the dots, surviving for long enough, or scoring enough points. If he gets enough Match Points, he wins! Ghosts win by killing Pac-Man enough times! Want to stay true to the original and only go for dots? Turn the other options off if you want, you have that control! You can even configure the lives Pac-Man has, or the amount of Match Points! Does the game break if you turn off ALL the ways for Pac-Man to score? I actually don't know! But it's in your hands now!

CHARACTERS:

Play as Pac-Man, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, or Clyde! (Ignore the empty slots, I was way too hopeful when I first started this project and now touching anything breaks it all)

ABILITIES:

If you want, turn on abilities! These spice up the game by giving each ghost their own unique super power, such as moving a little faster (Blinky), teleporting in front of pac-man (Pinky), warping where you aren't normally supposed to warp (Inky), or trapping dots (Clyde). Even Pac-Man now has a "bomb" he can trigger when he's in danger that will clear out ghosts around him!

MAZES:

Select your own mazes and select your own music per maze! There's 4 to choose from! (Once again, the empty slots are a sign of how young and naïve I was when originally beginning this project).

BALANCE:

By default, the game is very close to the original game, but there's also an option oh the character select to "balance" the game to account for players controlling the ghosts effectively. For example, 1 pac-man vs. 4 ghost players will increase pac-man's speed.

ACCURACY:

I read the pac-man dossier and spent a painstaking amount of time getting it to be as accurate as possible down to the littlest details.

BACKGROUND:

I started this whole thing in high school, and now I've graduated college. For about 6 years now I've been working on this fangame off and on, however the catch is, I didn't really learn how to properly make a game until about a year ago. As a result, this game's code is a MESS, but it works, so instead of letting it sit on my hard drive for another few years, I'm swallowing my pride and posting it.
This game will never really be finished, and I'll never really finish it, because I've started work on a project that takes the core ideas of this one and elaborates on them, makes them my own, and most importantly, is built properly.
That said, I hope you enjoy pac-man multiplayer!
(Namco please let this exist, it's free come on)
