Paradox Ruby is a platformer game set on the planet Derius, populated with civilization of anthropomorphic creatures called Derians.
Aspherius, the city of life and the center of Derius, keeps the Paradox Ruby, which gives energy to the whole planet, safe. But once, the cataclysm emerges, draining the planet to the point of no return more with each passing day. Almost at the same time, the scientist by the name of Dr. Barebones disappears without any trace.
It's up to Spike, the deft porcupine, to find the scientist and the source of the cataclysm and, possibly, save every Derian from the cataclysm!

* Jump! Double jump! Dash! Kick! Fly! Glide! Punch! Get special orbs from the Shady Salesman at the Plaza and get a new move your can use! (Psst... Just don't forget to bring the Ruby Tears!)
* Find the secrets all around to piece everything together!
