Really great cozy vibes from this game demo! It was even raining when I played it which felt immersive haha. If you don't know what to expect, I don't want to spoil much, but basically it's a story driven game where the main character suddenly stumbles upon the empty white void, breaking their daily routine. Fun dialogue and interaction with the world with the items you find, and nice character work so far! Great art and presentation, looking forward to seeing more!

I got stuck at the very start, i got the plushie, the rope, and the scissors, now i am COMPLETELY confused what to do next, i have interacted with everything THRICE and dont know wth to do...can ANYONE help me?

I like what's being setup a lot with the demo so far. The game has that comfy vibe to it and cute art, but also definitely has a message and heart it wants to communicate. As someone who is very often reliant on daily routines, it was a decently relatable experience that the game seems intent on exploring. Very cool game.

really cool, it took me quite awhile to get into it for me, but when I did finally get into it, it felt really good.

writing is done super well, the characters feel unique and fun.

gameplay is okay, not really for me but that's okay

my big problem with this game mostly is that it had trouble hooking me into the story. The beggining feels rough and slow for me, and it felt like i had to force myself to just think "it's going to get more interesting soon" (which it did, but it took a bit to get to that point)

can't wait for the final product, i can already see you becoming a big shot in the near future.

I decided not to continue writing the script, as enough is written to do the rest on the fly. Instead, I've started on overworld stuff!

Here's a preview (ignore the bugged menu layering lol)

I also finished the new room editor, and it is working like a treat. Making new rooms will no longer be an issue.

Tomorrow, script progress resumes!

Yeah turns out making a room editor is really hard but its like mostly done now. So far stuff is editable with keyboard, but I want to add a click and drag feature to it.

The basic room editor is being made into a fully-fledged one, and Ive got that about halfway done, tomorrow I want to finish it. With that done, it will be much easier to add more rooms, and I can start making the entire overworld!

I've managed to get some working builds going -- also, all the main character design concepts for the first area are done!

The overworld is accessible in game now yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas

By the way, the menu sound effects this will have will be themed on percussion - drums, snares, hi-hats, those will be the main SFX for menus and what not.

Creating sound effects and fonts from scratch is certainly something I haven't done much of before -- but it's getting done! Also, idk if this means anything but the first minute of gameplay is already complete
