Welcome to the Pizza Plex!

The Pizza Plex is a state-of-the-art mall with a wide array of stores, way too many neon lights, and a mall cop who just won't give you a break.

Gameplay

Play as Vanny as you search for a suitable vessel to become your master's new body. The only problem is, William may have been taken from you and locked up in a toy store, so you should probably buy him back first. Along the way you can steal money from children, rickroll an entire theater, participate in shady exchanges that may or may not include child trafficking, swim in the mall's fountain, question whether the owner of the "Aloha Snackbar" realizes how morally wrong their business may come off, and so much more. It's fun for the whole family!*

*On second thought, please don't let your family play this.

Want to help out?

Aside from the amazing lobby renders generously provided by @GamesProductionOfficial , I am producing this game solely by myself. This isn't a problem, and I can probably handle the game's development just fine on my own. However, if you want to help out and think that you could bring something to the team, let me know and I will certainly consider it. This game is being produced in Ren'Py and coded in the Python programming language.

Disclaimer

While this game may share many similarities to Day Shift at Freddy's in terms of visual style and humor, it is in no way a DSaF fangame and does not take place in the same universe. That being said, Panic at the Pizza Plex was certainly inspired by the Day Shift at Freddy's trilogy, and even includes a few references to Directdoggo's works.

I'd say that I'm about 3/4ths done with day 1. I was originally planning on ending day 1 and releasing the demo a lot sooner, but I decided that I should instead add some more content to beef it up and make it a lot more replayable as a whole.

We've reached 50 followers! It may not be much, but it's certainly a start! Thanks for sticking with me so far, and here's hoping that we'll continue to reach more milestones in the future.

Today I continued programming the story, namely a part in which there's three multiple choice branches. Here's a screenshot from one of the available pathways.

I had some time to work on the game today, so I began working on The Emporium. Here's a new screenshot:

Sorry for the lack of updates; I've been pretty busy lately. However, I hope to get back on track decently soon. Thanks for bearing with me!

I'm starting to run out of non-spoiler facts faster than I thought I would, so I may end up slightly cutting down on the dev logs. I'll still post a dev log whenever I complete something, but they probably won't be every day like they have been so far.

Here's an example of how quests work. Let's say that you go to Edgelord Kingdom and hear that they're willing to pay for a new shirt design. If you can then somehow find a computer somewhere in the mall, you will have an option to design a shirt for them.

At one point you get to choose what rabbit suit Vanny wears. Depending on which one you choose, it will unlock a special quest you can find later on that is specific to that suit. Quests are a part of day 2, so they will not appear in the day 1 demo.

The first day will be relatively simple and act as a sort of tutorial to get your bearings. However, on the second day you will roam the mall looking for all sorts of different quests to make money, some of which being a lot less conventional than others.

It was an unexpectedly painful process, but I've finished the directory and should now be pretty close to completing day 1. Of course, I'll also have to create the menu and do a few more tweaks before the demo is ready, but it's certainly getting there.
