Welcome to Platform X (written as of v.2.1's release). This game allows you to test your platforming skills in an adventure with your character, either alone or with a friend, where you must make it to the end. Also, there are some new 'Experiences', which allow you to recreate scenes from previous games, such as Super Mario Bros.
At 1:30pm (GMT) (yes I am aware of the typo in the build), I will be launching version 2.1.0 of Platform X, including new costumes, music and features.
I have started work on my next project. Don't worry, PFX isn't going anywhere. In-fact, the series has only just begun.
NOTICE: Due to leaks of the 2.0 update, I will not be releasing any betas to developers for testing meaning that the game will be slower at releasing updates.
Version 2.0 is officially releasing earlier than expected. In a few hours actually. See the changelog on the atricle. Oh, and one more thing. Mac support is officially here. (Linux is planned for a release very soon.)
Hey everyone! Just a reminder, version 1.0 of the game is out now. I will probably be releasing a bugfix at some point over the next week, so here's something to announce that v.2.0 will be available soon.
This is the first gameplay image without the game being WIP. The game is completely exported as it's own file. Oh, and the title screen interactivity has been made even more crazy, with a moonjump and super-speed because why not.
1) Now, I did promise this for yesterday. So, I am now ready to announce the release date of Platform X. This is the uncensored news menu. You can see the release date at the bottom. Please note, level music is not included at this time.
2) This is because it is being carefully made to fit the play-style of the game perfectly. Prepare for a lot of screenshots in the devblog over the next few hours.
Work on playable costumes has begun. It won't be in the game for release, however I am planning an update very soon after release with the Multiplayer Mode and Costumes.
What's that? You want to change the look of the characters? That is also in the works. All costumes shown are still early concepts, bottom left is the template costume. I have attached the template sprite to this post, so make some costumes. :)
