A geometric and psychedelic 3D arcade game
In elementary geometry, a polytope is a geometric object with "flat" sides. It is a generalization in any number of dimensions of the 3D polyhedron or the 2D polygon.
Strongly inspired by the famous Super Hexagon and Open Hexagon Polytop is a new and refreshing iteration over this type of game where you must rotate around a 2D polygon to and avoid dangerous walls to survive in a challenging but truly fun pace.
Polytop is different because it adds a whole new dimension to the gameplay, literally ! You are now entering the game, but in 3D. The idea is simple yet efficient : instead of rotating across polygons, you orbit around polyhedra.
A platonic adventure awaits you, featuring levels across tetra, cube, octahedron and more ! Each level will feature an awesome and frantic soundtrack to keep you upbeat and hyped.
Please note that the game is currently in development and the game is only a early stages, barely a fancy prototype, but I plan to work on it through the year 2019, so stay tuned !
I think this is an opportunity for Super Hexagon adepts to challenge their skills to the max in a new official game, as 3D visualization is more complex and requires a different kind of precision !
