Aren't you sick and tired of all those AI-written Undertale mods? Were they a bit too raunchy for you?

Or... are you one of the millions around the globe vehemently opposed to anything AI-related?

Well, do I have the mod for you. Introducing UNDERTALE - Poorly Rewritten, the second Undertale text change mod (The first was Undertale Repainted back in 2016, it didn't change much but it counts!)

Re-experience the story of Undertale like you've never seen it before! Enjoy having a perfectly straight face the whole way through as the game tries to be funny, but falls dramatically on its face! Be appalled by crude, one-note characters with none of the depth of the originals. Fight or spare in battles with minimal changes. It is named POORLY Rewritten after all, so you get what you paid for I suppose.

Thankfully it's AI-free, so it's automatically a thousand times better by default.

Section One of Poorly Rewritten was released on GameBanana many moons ago, and it's finally on GameJolt after months of me forgetting I had this account and not knowing how to create a game page for it, BUT I'VE FINALLY DONE IT! 8 SUBSCRIBERS HERE I COME!

Finally, for your reading pleasure, a list of questions and answers...

Q: Will you rewrite the rest of the game?

A: That's the goal. I'll release the mod in sections - the Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, CORE + New Home, and finally the True Lab and the rest of the True Pacifist endings... if I'm determined enough - I have another original project in the pipeline I need to work on.

Q: Was generative AI used during the creation of this game?

A: Nope! All of the dialogue was mostly written off the top of my head.

Q: Will there be other games? (eg, Deltarune, Undertale Yellow, Deltatraveler, TS!Underswap)

A: Probably not all of Deltarune, that game is shaping up to be fucking ginormous. Don't get your hopes up for Undertale Yellow Poorly Rewritten or Deltatraveler Poorly Rewritten either. They're fan works and I would likely have to get permission to tamper with them - which would likely be nigh impossible because I'm pretty small potatoes compared to Cibles (creator of the AI mods) If I could though, I'd be interested in seeing what I could do with Undertale Yellow. DT is made in Unity and likely has a far different dialogue system to that of UT, DR and UTY, so that game's a total no-go. I guess, just wait and see.
