Very cool! nice job!
Wow, dude. It's sweet that you're making a new paid-for version. Thanks for keeping this old version up for us to play, though.
Well, I really enjoyed this game, although it wasn't until I got the P(Survival) powerup that I realized that the flickering number represented my health X|
But, this is a great game, not much I could find fault for, a proper 10/10!
I downloaded this a while ago from the thread on TIGSource, and I guess I didn't realize it was on Game Jolt, so I came here to give it a rating.
I don't know what to say about it specifically, but... it's a very nice game!
I'm back on linux now (fedora) with a new pc and I still can't get it to work.
I can't install this pyaudere thing (not sure of spelling, don't have it to hand right now)
Please can you help?
This version of Probability 0 is no more: it is old. You can still play it! I still love it! But there's a new version, and it's better :)
Probability Zero is a fun little downwards platformer in which you utilize the abilities at your disposal, either starting with a handful of points to spend or collecting them along the way (to great potential totals).
The game features randomly-generated levels that go on for ever and ever while continuing to provide interesting challenges.
The Character, you, are about 140cm tall (4'7"). Your abilities of note are your jump height (over 3m) and your ability to survive a fall up to 7.5m, although any further and you will hurt yourself.
If you play this game, expect not to do well the first... many times around. You're going to die, and you're going to die a lot -- 'tis only my hope that in these deaths you find fun, and slowly, that these deaths find themselves taking longer and longer.
If you want to play this game on a system other than Windows, a .pyc (compiled Python) file is included. You will require Python 2.6.2, Pyglet 1.1.4, PyAudiere 0.2, and NumPy 1.4 (later versions of any of these, except Python, may work). I'm sorry it's such a hassle, but there's no other way for me to do this without access to a computer of an alternate system :(
