SEGA and the Sonic Team started developing Sonic 1 but multiplayer build of it like Sonic 2. They tested it on Sonic Tokyo Toy Show cartridge. They wanted to develop that two seperate players can play with one character (or with Sonic). They called it Project Delta. They tested that cartridge with Sonic as the player but the whole game went wrong. That cartridge was totally destroyed by them to prevent the news of it. That story was erased from the history. However, there was a boy called Jake who got that cartridge and took that ROM on his computer. And shared it to his friends too. But, everyone of them were became insane after playing that ROM.
