Lookin' Good So Far
There once lived a King and a Queen in a strange land. One day, the King perished, and the Queen was driven mad. She attempted to kill herself, but was apprehended before the deed could be finished. As punishment for her actions, she was cursed to live in her rotten body, but never to be able to die so that she could not join her beloved husband. In a fit of rage, she ruthlessly attacked her own kingdom, and cursed the people to be just like her. Using the remains of her broken kingdom, she constructed a tower to house her army of the damned. From the safety of her new home, she waged war on humanity, and saw to it it's destruction.
Heroes and champions from the surrounding empires fought back, legions of light against hordes of dark. Humanity proved to be the strongest, and the undead were forced back into their tower. But they were never vanquished. The treasures of the old kingdom lay scattered about throughout the land and on the living corpses, so they were abused for their wealth. Men from all over seeking fortune braved the tower. Many lost their lives, and just as many returned rich. Everything carried on, even when the sky darkened and the world grew cold.
However, at the start of the new season, the sky only continued to darken, and world grew more cold. The undead had thinned, and the demand for treasure was great. Men from all over were eager to claim their prize. They were the most foolish. Beasts of unfathomable horror began to emerge from the tower, monsters with strength the heroes and champions had not prepared for. No one was spared. The beasts spread out among the country, in their wake a path of destruction. Most of those who could challenge them had been slaughtered at the base of the tower. The Queen and her army were never seen again. The remnants of the past life were gone. Gone was the Tower of Wealth. Gone were the days of peace and prosperity. There was now only the cruel god, and it's tower.
The God Tower.
God Tower was inspired by games such as The Tower of Druaga, Cave Story, and Castlevania.
