 Hi Darkfoxx! I really enjoy Sonic: Phantom Corruption, but I recently died in the sonic chase right as I figured out the strategy to beat it. Could you consider adding a New Game and Continue Game option in a future update? It would give players a second chance to fix their mistakes without losing all their progress. Thanks for the great game!
Game good, big potential. I like the follower character trying to kill you mechanic, i'd love to see more games do that. Also, being able to skip cutscenes would be nice. Got 2 minor bugs to report, touching the top of a level causes it to restart. And in Scrap Brain Act 3 if Sonic dies he tries to recover like Tails instead of teleporting.

SONIC: Phantom Corruption is the biggest Sonic horror fangame I have ever created. It is my passion project and I have put a lot of dedication into it. I created this project to unleash my creativity, coding skills and to bring my ideas to life, while hoping someone at least will be interested in them.

PLOT:
After a long time period of investigation, Doctor Eggman discovered the PHANTOM RUBY.
It is a unique artifact which hides a huge amount of energy, so powerful that it surpasses the chaos energy. That can be used to overpower the host and grand them unique abilities or manipulate an opponent by creating illusions so real to them that can be harmful even. However, its use should be wise and limited, otherwise things will go out of control.
Eggman's experiment on the phantom ruby was a failure, causing the destruction of all his base systems, while the ruby began emitting energy uncontrollably. It possessed Sonic...
Ever since then, the corruption of the phantom energy slowly took over both Sonic's mind and body. His fur was getting darker, while his spirit was getting trapped more and more within his subconscious, allowing the phantom energy to take full control.
Now, it is up to Sonic's friends to discover the truth and find a solution in order to stop the ultimate chaos from spreading.
